The Power of Community

I am bowled over by the support of my neighborhood community. These photos illustrate the piles of wonderful art supplies from just three neighbors, none of whom I'd even met before the day I received their donations. Two of them even took it upon themselves to solicit and collect donations from their friends, family, and coworkers.
These generous donations will go straight to the weekly art workshops I'll be holding, the first of which will be with the Bhutanese Elder Empowerment group.
Some of the resulting artworks made possible by these donations will likely be on display this June at a month-long gallery exhibition at the Seattle Center! Please check out details of the event on the EVENTS page.
