"Artvocacy" - June Art Exhibition at the Seattle Center

  • A/NT Gallery Seattle Center Seattle, WA 98109 USA (map)

We are very excited to announce a special exhibition of the artworks of locally resettled refugees that will take place at the A/NT Art Gallery in the Seattle Center throughout the entire month of June! Come by to view the pieces, learn about the talented artists themselves, and experience the work being done by the Seattle IRC.

The main event takes place on June 20th, World Refugee Day, when the IRC hosts a U.S. Citizenship Ceremony at KEXP's La Marzocco Cafe! We welcome you to come witness the swearing-in of new Americans and meet some of the talented artists. There will be artist demos, snacks, and plenty of artwork. 100% of the proceeds of any art sales at this exhibition go directly to the artist!

Many thanks to all those who are making this possible: the Seattle Center, A/NT Art Gallery (reserved by photographer Phil Eidenberg-Noppe), KEXP, La Marzocco Cafe, IRC staff, volunteers and partnering organizations, as well as all who have contributed art supply donations to the Art of Saving Humanity Project.
